The Bible
We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God, that it is infallible, and is the only true authority sufficient for all matters of faith and practice
God
We believe that there is only one true living God who is Eternal and Self Existing, who has revealed Himself as One Divine Being, co-existing in three Persons, Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
The Lord Jesus Christ
We believe in The Lord Jesus Christ as the Eternal Son of the Living God:
- Who truly became a man, being conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of a virgin birth.
- Who lived a holy and sinless life on earth and entered His Miraculous Teaching Ministry
- Who was persecuted and freely gave His life to die on the Cross for us, in our place, bearing our sins and guilt, as the Lamb of God to take away the sins of the world.
- Who was bodily resurrected from the dead by God on the third day.
- Who triumphantly ascended to the right hand of God in the heavens and who lives always to intercede for His people, serving as the only mediator between God and man.
- Who will return in power and glory to establish His Kingdom Rule, which is the eternal and blessed hope of all believers in Christ Jesus
Humanity and Sin
We believe in the fall of man who was created pure and upright, but through wilful disobedience was corrupted by the nature of Sin itself.
Salvation
We believe in eternal salvation through faith in Christ Jesus, who, according to the scriptures, died on the cross to take away our sins, was buried and was raised from the dead on the third day, and we have Redemption through His Blood, the forgiveness of sins, by our believing into Him and being born anew by the Holy Spirit.
